PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION


PROJECT MANAGER / ASST. PROJECT MANAGER (Updated: 22 May 2012)
(Selangor, Johor, Penang, India, Indonesia)

Responsibilities:
This is a senior position,for someone who has extensive experience in project management and implementation of construction projects. The Project Manager would be in charge of several project teams across several projects. Thus, we are looking for someone who is able to lead and motivate team members and ensure that projects are executed in a cost effective manner with the highest of quality. 

The role of a Project Manager is challenging and fulfilling. Thus, we are looking for someone who is resilient, able to think on his feet, possess good problem solving skills and is able thrive under pressure. 

We have projects all over Malaysia and are looking to expand in countries like India, Indonesia and Australia. Thus, successful candidates may have the opportunity to work overseas when the opportunity arises.

  • Coordinating efforts of all parties involved in the project, which generally comprise of the client, contractors, consultants, sub-contractors and labourers;
  • Ensuring that there is optimum utilization of resources such as labour, material, machinery, so that the projects are implemented in the most cost effective manner;
  • Ensuring that the projects are carried out in an efficient manner and deadlines are met;
  • Monitoring the construction of the Nehemiah wall, ensuring that the retaining wall is constructed according to specification and quality is maintained.

Requirements:

  • A person with integrity who will uphold the company’s values and carry out his job with honesty;
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management;
  • Experience in construction projects;-
    • Project Manager at least 8 years
    • Assistant Project Manager at least 5 years
  • A fully maintained vehicle will be provided for suitable candidate.

PROJECT ENGINEER

  • Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
  • 2 to 3 years experience preferably in site project planning, implementation and management
  • Hardworking, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills

PRODUCTION ENGINEER

  • Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
  • 2 to 3 years experience preferably in production planning
  • Hardworking, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in concrete precasting will be an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

QA/QC ENGINEER

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 1 to 2 years experience preferably in QA/QC
  • Experience in reinforced soil wall design will be an added advantage

FINANCE


ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

  • Posses a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/CIMA/ACCA
  • 3 to 5 years experience preferably in construction industry
  • Experience in cash flow management, financial reporting, costing, annual budget planning and forecast
  • Sound knowledge of the Malaysian and international accounting standard and related tax issues
  • Possess good report writing and analytical skills

CREDIT CONTROLLER

  • Diploma or Degree in Business/Finance/Accountancy equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years experience preferably in Credit Control
  • Possess good monitoring, reconciliation, collection capabilities
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with management and customers
  • Experience in debt management and legal aspects will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

ACCOUNTS CLERK

  • Min with LCCI/Diploma or Professional Certificate in Accounting
  • Min 1 year relevant experience in matching of documents and verifying invoices.
